Vietnam has the same exam-driven market structure as Japan, with 1.5 million students per school year — roughly twice Japan's — in a market worth around 200 billion yen. The traditional "temple school" model has been banned, raising the importance of organised tutoring, yet no local player has scaled: a substantial opening. Manabie Vietnam runs its own OMO learning centers and uses the Japanese product itself day to day, sharpening both the teaching and the operational know-how. Beyond tutoring, we now build school management systems, STEM programs and bilingual education for local institutions — developing the education ecosystem itself.
